I agree with number 2. But sometimes fears run together & you can't always avoid having more than one fear at a time. Sometimes number 1 can't be avoided at all. I've been forced into situations that have caused me huge amounts of fear & stress. Most fears are big fears for me, even leaving the house is a huge fear, so if I adhered to only taking on small fears, I'd be in the house even more often than I am now & I would have never done any of the positive things I've done with my life. (Therapy, seeing my psychiatrist, going to school.....). Your steps are great, but are only good for people who are in ideal situations which allow them to do things that way.
