Fun but nonsense. James Randi did this experiment where students thought they were getting personalised horoscopes. Most agreed that their horoscopes were pretty accurate, when in fact they were all identical

Hmmm, astrology is an odd one. I live in hippy land, that's basically the west coast of Canada, hippies!! So I hear about astrology all the time! It's hard to sit there and listen to them without rolling my eyes but I do realize that is arrogant of me, must be because I'm an Aries :lol: One day a friend asked me what my sign was. I said I'm an Aries and he was like "haha, you're such an Aries!". Then I asked "what does that even mean? To be an Aries". He fumbled and didn't know what to say. Eventually he just said that it's because I do whatever the **** I want lol. To me that was a cop out of an answer. I've read many descriptions of my sign and find I do not relate to it at all. Plus another problem I have with horoscopes and zodiac signs, is that the dates are so inaccurate! The wobble of the earth over time alters these dates. I majored in astrophysics in university so I checked out my birthday and the actual position of the sun and constellations at that time. Turns out I'm smack dab in the middle of the Pisces sign. A big problem I have with the zodiac signs is that they seem to be used as just an excuse to the people who take it seriously. Like as if the signs were your destiny and that your personal qualities are written in stone so when you're being an arrogant *****, they can just say, oh it's cuz I'm a libra (I don't know if libra's are suppose to be arrogant *****s but this is just an example). It's fun to think about and read sometimes. However, some people take it to heart
