Do you guys have a favorite hiding spot?

Mine's the third floor of the library. Its the floor with foreign language books and out dated science textbooks. No one ever goes up there! Ever. I'm considering building a book fort up there with Herman Hesse novels and the French section. I dont think anyone would notice if i took up residence there. Its awesome! anyone else have a favorite hiding spot?

My bedroom. I keep a stash of food and a mini-fridge in here, my bathrooms connected, all my entertainment is here. I could probably hide out for a week and be perfectly comfortable. After a week, I'd need more food.

Actually, last year I did spend a lot of time literally hiding in my room. My roommate would bring her friends over and they'd stay in the living room. Of course, my SA kicked in and I didn't even want them to know I was in the apt so I literally hid in my room and made sure I didn't make any noise.

oh yeah, ive been there too. I used to have room mates that were extremely social, every now and then there'd be someone sleeping on the couch. so every morning id slowly peer around the corner into the kitchen living area to see if the coast was clear or ,in this case, if the couch was clear.

Stair wells are another god send, hiding wise. They're always empty because people use elevators!

I've done lots of hiding from roommates as well, SA sufferers I'm sure attract the worst house mates the world has to offer. I can't tell you how many times I stood peeking thru my blinds with my bedroom lights off at the hooligans out drinking it up and hollering in my own backyard. Ha Ha

As far as favorite hiding places out and about, cemeteries are good refuges. I have one right down the road I like to go to when I need to air-out but when I don't particularly feel like braving the world in full.

lol, I would get on my hands and knees and peer through the crack under the door for feet before I left.

I use the stairs for everything. I refuse to get on the elevator because I don't like being in there with people and it's awkward when I'm in the elevator and the doors start to shut when someon else is rushing to it. I know I should halt the door for them, but I REALLY don't want to. But if I don't, I get anxious that I'll come off as a major bitch..it's just a lose/lose situation

Last year I lived on the 3rd floor of my apt and all my classes were on the 4th floor of the liberal arts building. I developed some good leg muscles, at least :)

I do this in my hometown whenever I'm having some kind of emotional crisis and need to get away. Morbidly enough, it's the same cemetery one of my friends is buried in, after he committed suicide. I go in there and visit his grave first, and then I walk around and think/read the headstones

when i dormed, i preferred the gym and library. I absolutely hated stayin in my dorm room cuz i felt like a nonproductive loser and sometimes my roomies would brg frends in and create awkwardness. now that i commute, i just go straight home after school, less anxiety but i still feel like shit

I use the backseat of the car for refuge too! Every now and then I take a nap back there, but then you get people tapping on your window, thinking that your dead or something.

Right there with you Harleyq, there is no limit to how many flights of stairs ill take inorder to avoid the elevator. I think the most ive had to do so far was eleven. who knew sa could build leg muscle. havent seen that one in the books

Yeah, that's kind of like my situation. I have family buried there, and I visit their graves before strolling around. I too read the headstones, I try to imagine who the people were and what kind of lives they had.

It's always a bonus when they have one of those little pictures on their markers with the cap that flips open. I like to guess what they looked like before taking a peek and see if I'm close.

I don't mean to come off as crude, my little game is always respectful and I never peek at pics if anyone is around. :D

Not that I particularly like it...but my dorm room...I have a minibar in there, too, and all my tinned food in my wardrobe, haha. I avoid the kitchen as much as possible! I have to sneak out to cook or use the bathroom.

In my bed, even my room isn't enough...I like to actually be under the covers...including my head.
