i just moved here from brisbane 3 months ago - n really just wanna go have some fun. am originally from vic, but been living in bris 5 years. i am pretty easy going.. but i just hate the social situations........ such asss: dinners!! i cant do them hey. dread them. story telling!! i always get too aware as im telling them - i hate it!! howeverrr, i love trying new things, keeping active, developing, learning, etc ---- and although i suffer from this thing i am sooooooo determined to overcome it.. somehow!!!...

anyone else have a passion for music and or dancing?

So I guess what you're really looking for is things to do that are somewhere between socialising and doing something simply at the same time as others.

Ever thought of doing that volunteering thing where you go out in the wilds and repair fences/clear ponds/keep weeds in check? Might be an idea. Doesn't involve much music or dancing, though (unless you can de-muck a pond particularly elegantly, of course)

Thanks - I hope things will get better and I know I need to make changes but it's just so difficult and scary. I'm in the north eastern suburbs - pretty close to you actually. It would be cool to catch up with someone who is going through similar issues so if you'd like we could chat on msn. [email protected]

Not from melbourne, sorry ^^;
But i'd love to visit australia eventually!

Me too. It's my biggest dream to go to Australia. Melbourne in particular. I've talked about it for the last 4 years but still haven't made it there yet. I really hope I do one day soon!

Hi there. I'm from Melbourne, in the east, about 20 minutes out from the city. :)
