Hey guys, I'm new to this forum.
I'm a 17-year-old student, from Singapore.
I'll be entering Polytechnic in two weeks. If you're familiar with Singapore's education system, you'll know that I could choose between Junior College and Polytechnic. Junior College is something like ordinary secondary school, but polytechnic is like university, where you have to be a lot more independent and interact more with people. I've decided that I need to make my own breakthrough, and that's why I'm choosing to go to Polytechnic.
These past few years, I've always relied on my elder brother to make connections with people, whether in secondary school or in church. He's aware of my condition, and has always been my pillar of strength. But now he's in National Service, which means he'll be gone for two whole years, and coming home only on weekends.
I'm really thankful to have found this forum, where everyone has more or less the same problems as me. I hope to make friends, receive and give encouragement, and most of all, through this forum, be able to put SA behind me.
Sorry for rambling... Nice to meet you all
