Hey, I'm new

Hi there.

Hmm, where should I start? I'm a 16 year old tomboy from Australia who loves modern history, reading, writing and staying quiet amongst other things.

My favourite TV shows are Hogan's Heroes and The Rat Patrol and my favourite genre of music is swing. The Andrew Sisters are definitely my favourite singers. A lot of people tend to tell me I'm old fashioned, but eh.

I stumbled onto this site yesterday when I finally felt I'd had enough of SA. Not that I haven't been feeling that way for a long time, but you know, fear of embarrassment got in the way.

I was reading through various threads yesterday while I was waiting for my account to get activated, and I was surprised to see just how many others are going through the same thing I am. It's nice to know I'm not alone, though I wouldn't wish an anxiety disorder on anyone.
