Hello everyone
Has any of you tried formaldehyde and alcohol for sweaty hands and feet?
I read on a forum that it really works!
Today I started to apply it on my hands and feet and they feel a little dry, people say you can see results from day 2. you have to mix 80% of alcohol and 20% of formaldehyde.

Try it. It may work for you!

Uh.. wut? where do you buy formaldehyde???

I buy it in any Pharmacy.

In the forum I read about this people who have used this say that it really works. Yesterday I started to apply it on my hands and feet and I already can feel that they sweat less.

Today Is the third day of applying this solution on my hands and they have become quite dry so I had to use a hand lotion.

alejandragc,

is your hh really so bad? Trust me, most other people don't even notice it!!
Please consider also that other people or surfaces you get in touch with get smeared with some formaldehyde too, not cool - and if it dries your hands out too much, that isn't good either?

Some people were talking about success with some herbal teas/natural remedies/magnesium on the forum, maybe look for that?

Hi Feathers
yes my HH is that bad. I have had it on my hands, feet and used to have it on my armpits too since I was little ( I am 21 Now) . Because of HH I have become antisocial, I avoid meeting new people because of hand shakes, I have become really self conscious around people. It is really difficult living with this, especially when I am at the university and I have to interact with my friends and in activities in class which involve holding hands. When I have to write on my notebooks, all the paper curls because of the moisture of my hands, when I touch stuff I leave sweat drops on them and I can't wear sandals because my feet slip so it is quite embarrassing.
I have try almost everything. Sage tea, apple cider vinegar,No sweat antiperspirant ,chamomile, magnesium tablets , Epsom salt, baking soda, milk of magnesia, vitamins, changing my diet, drinking more water , exercising, etc.
Nothing seems to work.
I plan to use formaldehyde for some days in a row and then use it just twice a week and eventually just once a month. Just like you I am also concern about the possible side effects of using formaldehyde, but I feel so depressed and death inside because of HH . I pray to God that this possible cure won't affect my health.

alejandragc have you tried inontophoresis ?

I have not tried the iontophoresis machine because it is sold in the country where I live in and I don't have enough money to buy it. I was also considering taking Robinul pills but when I asked my doctor to prescribe the pills she said that robinul is not used as a sweating treatment. So I don't have many options

Geez, please do not jeopardize your health.

It's definitely not worth it. I'm taking my father to the hospital weekly for Chemo treatments. You have no idea what a toll that takes on everyone around you.

HH is serious - sure, but cancer is SERIOUS.
