Not really they get shot for pet meat :sad:, so when they see people they run.
But as it is so dry here they get desperate, so they come into people s gardens looking for food.

I love rats. They're really smart and friendly. The only sad thing is that they don't live very long.

I had pet rats when I was a kid. They're a lot of fun! One of them used to like to go in my shirt pocket and I'd take him out places with me - lol!

I still love dogs the best though!

That's horrible. I've never understood how people can shoot animals. They're scum. :veryangry:

Unfortunately since colonial times kangaroo numbers have exploded because of all the pasture and farm dams and they compete with sheep and cows so the farmers organise shooters to keep the numbers down. It is sad but that is reality.
