well like just now actually... i saw this thing on a show i was watching it was stupid but hear me out. There was a group of people and one of them was pretending to talk to someone on a donut like it was a phone. lol i know stupid but he was trying to be funny and he then hands the donut to someone else and says HERE ITS FOR YOU?!?!? like the other guy was supposed to say something.Well i started feeling anxious and almost putting myself in that situatuion and i know i would just make things awkward if that happened to me and embarass myself. I would have no idea what to say..

I have this all the time. I call them "look-away" moments - where you just can't watch something because it's so awkward.

it SUCKS especially when others are around. i almost feel like they know how im feeling at that very moment. like they can sence it or something. What was one of these moments for you?

Yeah, I have it too. It's not weird at all. :3

It doesn't even have to been real for me. I face-palm and feel awkward with many acted TV shows too. Take ''The Office'' for example, even though it is hilarious at times, I don't watch it just because the awkward moments make me really uncomfortable, they simply ruin it for me.

Singing competition shows like ''Idols'' is also a good example. I just cringe at the first auditions. It's almost like living their shame. Well, I don't watch those music shows just because I don't like them in general, but those audition episodes are especially terrible to sit through.

Well, I'm taking a course now, and in it, there's this really nice, but almost incomprehensible Indian woman. When she talks, I get embarrassed - because I know that people have a really hard time understanding her. It's funny because she herself doesn't care, it's just that I feel awkward for her if that makes sense. Still, I literally can't look if she's speaking up in class. I know that's so weird, but there you go.

I get "anxious" from watching most of Ben Stiller or Adam Sandler's movies, because these guys play characters who almost always do something clumsy, awkward or embarassing. It doesn't keep me from enjoying the movie, though...
