Eating alone in restaurants

im always eating alone in restaurants sometimes i dont mind cos im starving and all i want to do is stuff my face , other times i just go in for something to do , and just sit there with a small meal that i dont even really want and just sit there watching people board out of my silly mind ...

Eating a regular sit-down restaurant seems inappropriate to do when you're alone (except maybe during lunch if you give off the appearance of having a job and being in a rush). The only place I feel comfortable eating alone anymore is at fast-food places. I hate that though because I honestly enjoy eating good food at good restaurants by myself. That's why I tend to avoid the common mealtimes (lunch 11-1, etc) if I can.
