Does it get better?

Hello, I'd like to ask a question: do you think your SA gets naturally a little bit better with time, and also the more you grow ?

I think it does as you mature with age; like many problems. But why wait? =D Still won't just completely disappear by letting time take it's course.

For me it is a bit like a roller coaster. Right now I would say that my life is better, and so is my anxiety. The fear I have is that I am at the crest of the roller coaster ride and I have to be mindful that I don't crash into another low. When I have crashed I crash spectaculary

I agree with Kiwong on the emotional roller coaster. I don't think the anxiety will let go, but it will fade, and only come back if you let it.

mine didn't get better or worse, it simply became noticeable.
when i was younger I forced myself to be outgoing and forced myself to do many things I couldn't really it is 'worse' as in, people notice it now and i do nothing to hide the fact that i have issues.

Yarp. It will. If you learn to trust people, and yourself.
Someday you will think, Why should I be so afraid?
You just want to wide the world, new experiences, new thoughts about life, and open a new book .

so much more.

It's just the way you look at things, so that's basically the thought pattern we should break !! it will make your life so much easier :) really :)

I'd say it very much depends on what you "do".
Whether you read books on it, take therapy, get out into the world, etc.
So, it can not hardly get any better at all ....... up to it getting "somewhat" better.
And just "time" by itself does'nt garantee improvement though.

I would say probably, yeah. As you get older you just learn to give less and less of a ****. You are the way you are, and it's that thing of being set in your ways. It's a like it or **** off situation. As young people, society constructs this culture of caring about how you should be perceived 24/7. And then you're guided less and less by societal norms as you get older, I guess it just comes with time and experience. Of course, it can't be said for every 'mature' person though.

I ****ing hate people who generalise.
