Got this in 2009
To keep a journal which started as a provided exercise book in rehab to empty my thoughts into and fill up my feelings about being in hospital long term.
I've used Evernote for free, not paying premium to make notes on life.
I only post in this SPW website when I take notes made in Evernote. Can share this online; useful when away from home - Mac, PC, any portable thing. Hundreds of subjects in there. This was way before 'the cloud' became popular
Yesterday I lost the lot. Just 40 left now. The app must have done it. All my backups over several years keep a record of everything which is still there as normal, to restore, except these notes (any weblinks, pictures, etc..) Each one is a life-changing event, such as someone who's died... memories of how to learn and adjust to work & interviews
Maybe this website is my most reliable form of notes - yours - to reflect on
If anyone starts using it, look out for security. It's in the news.
My next note is to list all the missing titles I miss.
I think chasing this loss to recover from is futile. Maybe another lesson to learn, in itself
