I tried to look at her a few times but she noticed and I didn't want to be rude, but it was hard not to stare (although I'm sure she's used to it)

It may depend on her personality, eg whether sh'e extroverted or introverted, as to how much she likes/dislikes the staring or attention. Some people "get off" on it, some people (eg myself) really dislike it.
People stare i think usually due to something being "different" in some way, good or bad (ie novelty).
But even if the person is a "good" novelty (ie especially attractive), they can still have a strong dislike for people staring at them.

Red hair (& maybe purple) is more striking than most other colors, especially if it's a bright tint. But i guess it does depend a bit on the skin tone, clothes, etc, as to how aesthetically pleasing it looks overall.

No, this isn't going to be a thread about me posting pictures of myself and asking if i'm attractive. I've always felt inferior to the tanned, popular, blonde girls. I have fair skin and even if i do sit in the sun i only get sun burn. The only thing i sort of like about myself is that i'm tall, slim and have green/hazel eyes.

red heads are always attractive. if i see one that's natural, i always think that they're special, male or female.
green eyes are pretty always too
