Well, I've watched a lot (too much) TV as a teen, very little as a student at Uni (where I learnt WAY MORE from my roommates/flatmates/classmates...) I've even been accused of 'talking like in a sit-com/comedy' once - that was pretty funny lol
If you like funny things, it can maybe be a bit of help, or just escape/entertainment, yup... I've learnt way more from real people or from books... There are books on how to make friends and improve communication etc. (Maybe there are videos and audio about that too, haven't really done that. Oh wait, there are SuperNanny or Nanny 911 TV series on how to deal with kids, if you ever have kids or care for them, I recommend those!)
