I can't really say that it does. Well, now, anyway. Usually when I see people that are happy all the time I think to myself ''Well, good for you.'' and not in a sarcastic way either. These people are mostly a good influence.
A while back I would've annoyed myself to death to that kind of person, but recently I've come to realize more and more that the more negative we are, the more we enjoy the company of negative people (negative music, negative movies, negative things in general). It fuels us. And when somebody positive comes along, it disrupts our negative way of thinking, and that's the thing we find uncomfortable.
But it's important to remember that it's not the person we find annoying, not at all. The annoyance is merely projected upon the person because they provide the elements under which we feel uncomfortable (and in some cases jealous (but that's just me)). The person whom provides these elements isn't even aware of this at all. The thing we should be- and are annoyed at is the feeling, and the feeling alone.
After all, isn't that what we're doing? Hiding behind mass negativity, or ''realism'' as some call it, due to lack of confidence? Not trying to step on anyone's toes here, just giving my two cents. ;3
I like what you wrote.
