Do you find it hard to see your friends?

Hi,

Do you also find it a rough time to see friends? I mean, when friends ask me to do something fun, I always say, YES sure! :D That's a great idea! Because I love to do enjoyable things. But when the moment comes closer.. I start to feel so much anxiety ::(: Today a friend will come to see me .. It's coming closer and closer.. =(
How about you people? Do you also experience this?
And how often do you see your friends?

And I know some people here don't even have friends, I feel sorry for you guys.

I have one friend, we see each other around twice a year and he lives 5 houses away from me... My SA is so bad now I can't even be normal around him. It's just awkward when we're together.

A few weeks ago I started hanging out with some of my gaming buddies for the first time in over a year. We get together about once a week and play mostly roleplaying games (Dungeons & Dragons, World of Darkness, or Dark Heresy, which we're currently playing). I've tried a bit of a switch, and am currently trying to play a more sociable character (and failing miserably, I might add).

But before going over there, I always feel nervous and inferior. Nervous because I know I have several hours of social interaction ahead of me. Inferior because I'm the only one who isn't doing something with his life.

Another friend and I have dabbled in songwriting for the past few years. Lately he's picked out three that he would like to record (via one of his other friends). So that's been making me nervous as hell. The other night I recorded a guitar track, and every mistake absolutely killed me. We knew going in that we weren't really ready to record, but he wanted to do it anyway. So I'm not too upset about it, although my inner perfectionist really wants to get it absolutely perfect.

But he's heading out to California for a week to check out a possible job, so that gives me a week or so to practice and perfect things. At least with the first song....

I don't have a single real live friend I guess. I've been feeling down lately, and I really want to call or message someone on the phone to talk to them, but I have absolutely no one ::(: So I just grit and bare it and hope for the moment to pass.
