The only reason I sign up to anything is because I want to be an active part of it, so yes, I always get the urge to post on sites I sign up for.

Posting is my way of having a long conversation with someone which i cannot do in real life. So yea, if i can keep having long conversation. I might be able to do it in real life one day.

right now, this is the only forum i post at... lol i really don't have that much to say to post on a bunch of different forums. but i think it's typical to lose interest after a while, because at first, you can go and look back at old topics and post something, but then after you've read most of those, you just have the new topics to reply to... so you can go waaaaay back and find some really old threads if you get really bored. and sometimes, too, the main/most active posters stop posting for whatever reason and that can create like a ripple effect- but then after some time, it might pick back up again.

good luck on the midterms!

I pretty much self-isolate so I post when when I'm lonely I guess just to feel as though I'm interacting with someone. Even if it's only superficially behind a screen, at least my mind can be engaged trying to think of something to say. Even if I'm dissatisfied with what I'm actually saying, at least I'm compelled to express something... it might be easier to give up trying, but it would make me feel a lot more miserable and lifeless. I'm not sure if this pent up compulsion will ever break through to real life though, but I really hope I can find some sort of balance soon.

I signed up because i wanted to post and take an active part in the forum and get to know other people and so on, but overall find it very hard to post even if i want too contribute.

Im like this in real life too, which is part of the problem. I hardly ever contibute to discussions or approach other people unless they speak to me first. Ive just realised im like this on online forums too. ::(: sigh

Very rarely do I feel the urge to post anywhere because it's once in a blue moon where I find it viable to interact with a community.
