Do you ever offend people without any intention?

As my social anxiety peaks up while in a forced conversation, I tend to make up topics or find excuses not to keep quiet while talking to someone, I'd often say something that'd offend the person I was talking to..and seriously I won't even know that it happened and they minded what I said and got offended,

do you ever have any situation like that?

Yes, so many times I offend people without meaning to. When people catch me off guard with their questions, I stumble for answers but sometimes spew out random cr*p that offend people. I made things worse. I wish I could slow down and take the time to think through my answers but doing this would be weird.

I wish I am witty.

Probably, though I think I offend people when I don't say much, because then I come off as rude. Oh well.

I think that applies for me. People think I am ignoring them or lack interest in what they have to say. Honestly though, I just don't want to give some bullcr*p, meaningless response. If you say something that isn't a direct question, please don't expect a reply.

I really wish I could find people who could enjoy just being in each others company, without feeling the need to talk the entire time to avoid "uncomfortable silences".

I end up offended people because I cut the conversation short. I was talking to this guy at a store who offered to help me...but, he kept on talking....I began to get very nervous and quickly cut the conversation off and said thanks and walked away.

Sigh.......I couldn't help it. I was starting to feel suffocated.

Wait a flying minute, thats obviously offending someone, I never forget that others are better than me because I'm a psychological patient so i can't act over-smart or make them feel stupid or hurt their feelings by ignoring them and pissing them off just because they were talking too much? A better option is to keep quiet when others are talking more than needed, that will neither get you bored nor get them offended...

I make people upset because of my bad temper and inability to cope. I don't intend to do so, but it's understandable if they get frustrated by it.
