Do you do weird things?

I bite my lips, play with my hair, sometimes bite my fingernails (terrible habit) or pick the nailpolish of my nails. I always have to be doing something with my hands. Also, I obsessively put on lip gloss.

My weird thing is that I have a major problem with people thinking I might have an erection and it drives me insane!!!! Ever since I was like 14 I've noticed that pants or shorts I wear sometimes go up in like a point at the crotch when I sit (I wear looser clothes so this could be part of the problem). To me someone might mistake this point for an erection (even though they probably wouldn't)... So everytime I sit down I have to look at my crotch area to see if it looks like I have an erection and then I have to adjust my pants if it does... then I take a peek once in awhile while sitting to see if the point has appeared again... this causes me to hate sitting for long periods of times.... Does any other guy have this problem? and why do Icare so much about such a stupid thing?!

Yes I have this too. It's the flies in the trousers ride up and make a lump. I remember at school we had a class room where the tables were arranged in two rows facing each other on each side of the room, one day the lad across the room from me (luckily a friend of mine) started laughing his head off. He poked the lad next to him and pointed over at me, so I knew instantly what they were thinking.

I also have a whole routine of nervous tics. A head tick, nose twitch, one like a yawn, raising my eyebrows, scratching my face / head, foot wiggling and a hand washing type thing. I also have some strange vocal tics including coughing, sniffing, throat clearing and other throat noises. They are very subtle most of the time but noticeable.

Of course.

For the longest time, I've chewed the skin around my fingernails, often to the point of bleeding. Lately, I haven't done it as much because of therapy, as well as constantly putting lotion on my hands.

There are probably other weird things I do as well, but I can't think of them off the top of my head.

I think some of the things people with SA do is considered weird because we're more "Aware" of things than most people. By this, I mean were more conscious of ourselves, our surroundings, our situations, etc...
