Conversation Starters

Anyone know of any good (or bad?) conversation starters?

Edit:

I'm going to add any entries to this list to make it easier for people to read:

1. I got a really bad sunburn on my back yesterday and I can't put some cream on it on my own. Would you wanna come over and help me out with this? (Thanks to DontSleepOnMe)

2. Ask them for an opinion; like "Would I look good in red hair" (Thanks to DontSleepOnMe)

3. Who? What? Where? and Why? (Thanks to Remus)

4. Why don't you come over and help me out with this? (Thanks to Remus)

I have one I like to use online on dating sites haha," I got a really bad sunburn on my back yesterday and I can't put some cream on it on my own. Would you wanna come over and help me out with this?" responses vary, depending on the type of girl, doesn't matter, I got once from the hottest girl a response like, not only is your pic cute but your line is too.. and I got laid, yea baby woooohooo

I usually start with something like I need an opinion on something like if red hair would look good on me, gets them girls chatty as **** haha sorry

old sales technique:

Who? What? Where? and Why?

start a sentence with any of these and it's hard for an answer to be "closed" i.e. yes or no

e.g:

Where are you from
What is your job....etc

Would you wanna come over and help me out with this?

Answer: No

try: Why don't you come over and help me out with this?

Answer: Why should I?

(she didnt say "NO") so you can go on with more "open" questions

an "open" question is a question that cannot be answered by "yes" or "no"
