Contact Lenses

Does anyone else feel a little more confident when they wear their contact lenses instead of glasses? I'm legally blind without my glasses, so I wear them all the time. But sometimes I wear disposable contact lenses. They help me see a lot better, everything is sharper and in focus. And for some reason I don't avoid eye contact with others as much as usual.

I love my glasses. Wouldn't trade them for contacts any day.

I find glasses on other people extremely attractive, as well. I think guys in glasses are generally sexier than those without.

I prefer contact lenses too, but mines broke last week, i'm feeling anxious these days without them, can't see nothing!

I've been wearing contact lenses for about 10 years now. I used to be pretty self-conscious about wearing glasses so there was a long period of time when I wouldn't leave the house without putting in my lenses first. I guess over the years I just became less and less bothered by them. I still wear my contacts more than I do my frames if I have to go out somewhere but I tend to alternate between the two a lot more frequently than have done in the past.

Despite caring less about the appearance side of things, it still really bothers me that my ability to see with any degree of clarity is completely dependent on these objects that aren't physically a part of me. I'd be totally screwed without one of the two.
