Can you cheer people up?

I once worked at a job cleaning old people's homes. Part of the job was to take an interest in their well-being , lighten their mood if necessary and listen to them.

I was good at the cleaning part but never good at cheering them up. It always impresses me that some women are naturally good at this caring role. (does it say I'm male on my profile?) And know how to brighten anyone's day.

I'm pretty introverted so I guess what I'm saying is, extroverts would be better at this I suppose.

depends on the person really, if it's a bunch of stranger then yeah you can bet your life i won't have a single thing to say to any of them for that matter, so yeah i think extroverts are better suited, even if they're good at faking it from time to time.

Sometimes. It depends on which part of me is talking, the "good one" or the "bad one." I do try to help everyone that I see, though (more online than offline because people scare me somewhat in real lfe).
