Babies

I wonder, if I have a BABY, will it inherit the social phobia i have either genetically or socially, through interaction with me?

I have a girlfriend who wants a baby desperatly, but I am very afraid of it because of above named reasons. I do not want to put another person throught the hell my life has been.

Any thoughts on this?

Babies and children scare me, i just don't know what to do when a baby is child is around and i get paranoid that they see me as a scary monster o'r something. Say i'm in a shop que and there's someone with a child in front o'r behind me i start feeling tense especially if that kid starts crying, eugh! The sound of kids crying goes through me! I much prefer animals.

I have the same query and 2 posts above.
Say things go swimmingly and my anxiety reduces and I'm able to get a job and a partner.
Wham, the parnter wants a baby.
I couldn't live with myself if i passed on social anxiety disorder to another person and that person endures the same pain and suffering as myself. I think the child would be better off not born at all that with this disorder.
Note to self: always wear protection.
