Around other shy people

Yea, I've noticed that about myself as well but only with other guys. If I don't feel intimidated, I can be the most interesting man in the world! But it doesn't really matter if the shy person I'm hanging out with is female, I still end up a blubbering mess. I've just narrowed it down to a confidence issue. I'm totally a beta male, not enough testosterone I suppose...

Being around others with social problems just makes things more difficult. Being socially inept in many situations is one thing, being around someone else who is just as awkward/withdrawn, if not more.... no. It doesn't work.
