I saw this movie yesterday after your post,it was a really good movie imo,but I have never felt like kicking some fictional characters ass like I did with Hoshino specially at the concert.

I'm glad you liked it. I really wanted to kick his ass too. The guy is a monster!

To me, this is just nature. Now here me out hehe. If you ever look at nature
documentaries, you have these heirarchies that are dominated by the biggest and baddest member of the herd/tribe/pack, etc. What we have here on this forum, are the victims of those at higher postions of the power hierarchy. We're all or were all the gorillas that didn't eat as much veggies and didn't get as big, so we became victims for the bigger ones. How often are we bullied by someone smaller? Or by someone without backup? Or by someone who doesn't in some way have a power advantage
over us? That's the coward part that people point out, yes, bullies don't tend
to mess with people they think they can't dominate, because that's their
objective, to dominate, to have that higher place on the hierchy ladder.
They are not looking for a challenge! They're looking for someone to squish
under their boot. Like a defenseless bug!

I think you have a point here. This is my experience: when I was in high school in tenth grade (I was 15), there were a lot of bullies in my class, I was one of their main targets, although it never got physical, they were always mocking me, maybe because I was skinny and quiet (I still am), and the rest of the class followed them; it was a very difficult year for me because of this. I got fed up with this situation, and every day after school I locked myself in my room and started exercising (push ups, sit ups, shadow boxing, etc) , because I wanted to get stronger so I could confront them, and I did, I was willing to get into physical fights with any of them to earn some respect. When I confronted the guy that was like the “leader” of the bullies after he started messing with me, I thought he was going to kick my ass, but instead he patted me on the chest, and said to me: “I don't want to beat you up”, and walked away. I think I was lucky, because if there had been a fight, he probably would've kicked the crap out of me, because he was much bigger than me, but after this incident he never messed with me again, and even started acting friendly towards me. There were other incidents with the other bullies that could've gotten very ugly if the other classmates didn't stop me. But after that they never made fun of me anymore.

Total prey... I'm like a rabbit in headlights. When I'm under duress I think I dissociate or something. It's like I go into autopilot and just step back and watch my body go about it's business.
