Must have been electric the way the crowd goes off to them!
Aye, especially seeing them in Glasgow. Mind you nothing compared the Argentinean crowds... Those gigs look f**kin' mental.
Though, having see them recently for a 2nd time, it's clear that Malcolm's retirement from the band has hit them all pretty hard. They hardly spoke to the audience at all in between songs which was kinda awkward. Compared the Black Ice tour where there wasn't a dip in the audience's excitement.
Having said, they still put on a great show. The only downside to the Glasgow gig this time round was the support/opening band, they were utter shite. A f**kin' mediocre hipster American blue-rock band led on accompanied by a Scottish bagpiper dressed full uniform - tartan beret, kilt, sash and sporran. As if the lead singer wearing a blue f**kin' suit wasn't cringe-worthy enough. You'll never get which of those got the bigger cheer and response from the Glesga crowd in attendance?
But for the remainder of their performance, until AC/DC came on, ah sat like this:
mg: That said for a Scottish crowd they were quite reserved in their disapproval - silence mostly. No-one in the front row pissed in a bottle at throw it at them. Ah know ah would've... Anyway, sorry tae bored ye with ma boring story, there.
