A girl I know who runs a Gothic clothing shop got attacked by a group of teen chav girls in her shop the other day. She had to call the police! I hate tarring everyone with the same brush (as I know from personal experience that stereotyping is a lazy and ugly thing) and I'm sure there are chavvy people out there who aren't ignorant and aggressive, but the fact remains that I've had the most random verbal abuse in the street from people dressed in baseball caps and sportswear :-/
