I just don't think 2 people are meant to be that close for such a long time ("forever") boredome just kicks in... specially with the way society makes us feel and think. I think it's very rare to find a couple that not only has stuck with each other, loves each other but are also loyal to each other.... it's just very hard to accomplish all those things, imo.

I agree. I think it's a very rare thing when the "together forever" (and actually still happy and in love) thing works out. Maybe it's because I got burned last year, but my expectations of love are pretty different now. I still want to find that special person, but I don't have as much hope and excitement as I did before. Not to mention I'm extremely picky, and can't stand most people...I realize it's going to make it that much harder for me to find someone. Also, I'm gay and I like very feminine lesbians, so that makes it even harder lol. Guess I wouldn't be able to get married anyway - for now at least!

I'd liked to get married someday but one of my fears is that I won't have enough groomsmen for the brides maids. I know this is a weird post but this is the type of stuff I think about.

i've been to 3 weddings- none of them had them.
lots of people have small weddings, no bridal party etc.
both my mom and my aunt got married wearing a skirt and blouse- not a dress.
every wedding is different, not all of them are huge

lol i think any one from spw would be honored if you asked them to be a bridesmade or best man.
