afraid of violating personal space...

I feel so bad about infringing on a woman's personal space. I'm always afraid to even look at a girl, or even say hi, or to be around her. As if I will infringe on her personal space.

I'm afraid of coming on too strong. Most of the time, when I do come on, it's too strong, or I just mess it up.

So lately I've just given up on saying or doing anything.

most women seem closed off anyway. if I look at them they will like, roll their eyes at me or point their noses up, maybe scoff.

You're probably getting bad reactions PRECISELY because of your hesitance. You feel bad about it, so you come across as a reactive wussy, which is why they blow you off. If you're going to look at a girl, do it unapologetically. If you're walking on egg shells around girls, they'll just think you're annoying and NOT worthwhile.

When you constantly second-guess yourself like this, you're communicating "Please tell me how to act and accept me ::(: I have ZERO CONFIDENCE." And what's the number 1 personality trait that women find attractive...?

My view? Do you think I came up with the idea that women like confident men?

And what's cruel about it, can you blame them? I don't want people to walk on egg shells around me either.

Bingo. Everything you said is spot on. While different women find different things attractive, it's pretty universal that insecurity, low-confidence, uncertainty and hesitancy is pretty darn unattractive.
