Advice for first date?

I would find it hard to have a relationship with somebody who didn't get along with my friends.

I guess a lot of that would depend on the reasons behind it, though. Which is why I agree with Mikey in that you should ask your friends what they really thought. Some people might not like their friend's bf/gf simply because they are jealous that they don't have one. However, it might also be something completely different - maybe they thought he was rude or something. Can only find out by asking them I guess.

Wow I would never go to the movies for a first date I wouldnt even be able to watch the movie in peace and would just be nervous the whole time. I commend you for telling him about your anxiety. I wish i could just tell a girl straight up i have social anxiety but it just wont come out i bet if i did it may make things easier.
