Abraham Lincoln's quote

What do you think of Abraham Lincoln's (the 13th president of the US) quote:

"I am now the most miserable man living. If what I feel were equally distributed to the whole human family, there would not be one cheerful face on the earth. Whether I shall ever be better I can not tell; I awfully forebode I shall not. To remain as I am is impossible; I must die or be better, it appears to me."

I sometimes feel the same. I can't possibly explain the pain I feel inside, but the above quote comes close.

I dont know anything about Abraham Lincoln. Like NOTHING! Its suprising that a president would say that. But good quote.

I wonder if we have a "quote" forum here. If not we should get one. Cause famous people have some good ones
:D

He wrote that in a letter to his close friend. Abraham Lincoln suffered from severe depression. BTW, a lot of famous people suffer(ed) from depression.

Interesting quote.

Personally, it reminds me of the incredible emotional pain that comes with having SP.
