2020 is almost over, isn't it exciting? I don't know about you, but I could use a fresh new decade.

Then I guess we're friends. How's life, friend?

Tired of being ignored for the extroverted

I get that same impression from my family. But, I think a lot of the time we can subconsciously give the impression that we don't care for their company any more than they seem to care for ours. And then it's no wonder they would rather talk to our respective brothers.

Howdy. I'm not from Texas, but I do say "howdy". Does that count?

    Post your random thoughts/feelings etc

Man, I miss when it was busy here every day. I know I'm not helping, only posting once a month, but still.

I felt pretty good all day, but then I ruined it by overthinking everything. Excellent work, as usual. (y) I've been living alone and working remotely for the last 8 months now. I don't see another human Monday through Friday, unless you count Zoom calls. New developments at work mean they...

The good news is that I'm too depressed to eat more than a few bites at a time, so my normal grocery shopping trip from last weekend should last me about four months.

Thanks vj. I have a friend who's letting me move in on short notice. I wish I had the cash for a down payment on a house. I believe it would be a great time to buy. No, I got time. Nobody's mad at each other or anything. I'm honestly not even 100% sure why we're breaking up. She just wants to...

The McDonald's life is well behind me at this point. Now I'm a database programmer for a little company that makes education software. Can't complain at all. And yeah, having people you like working with definitely helps. Is it that you don't like the field as much as you thought, or just your...

I think having a crappy job might just be the worst thing there is. I worked at McDonald's for most of the last four years, and I didn't want to sleep at night knowing I'd have to go back the next day. I have nothing much to complain about anymore, especially on the job front, just kinda feel...

Hands tell stories, and we have threads for any other kind of picture around here. Here's my hand. (Sorry if this is a ridiculous idea.)

    Eddie Vedder quote on suicide

This is a quote from Eddie Vedder, the lead singer for Pearl Jam, about the song Jeremy. The music video for the song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCS_-DshXek) was banned from TV for a while for it's graphic suicide depiction. It was based on an actual event that took place in Richardson...

Does this sound like a good idea?

Back in January, before I realized I had SA, I started writing what I call a "pure conscious stream" (most people would probably call it a diary or something, but I don't like being so simplistic). Whatever I thought at the time of writing I wrote. It contained SO much personal information that...

    Hi People!

Hey, I've had social anxiety disorder for as long as I can remember, but I didn't realize there was really a problem until a few months ago. I generally can't talk to people at all unless they talk to me first, or if it's over the internet. I seem to be (slowly) getting better, though. High...
