    Post your random thoughts/feelings etc

I didn't know that magnesium deficiency could cause lack of sleep, anxiety and depression. Have been taking a supplement for the past week and feeling slightly better.

How do you deal with Bullies that have better lifes than you do at your expense

You'd be surprised at how many people who appear to have it all, who are actually dealing with inner turmoil. Sometimes what they are dealing with is worse than our anxiety, depression, or OCD if you can believe it. I'm old enough to have known people who I thought were on top of the world who...

    How are you feeling?

Sometimes I get frustrated with Facebook with all the political and downright time-wasting posts that show up on my newsfeed but then I think of all the people I've connected with who I otherwise would not. That's what makes it a great site.

    How are you feeling?

It's not a new job anymore. I've just celebrated my two year anniversary. It's a great job and although some of the people I really liked when I first started working there have left, it's still been one of the best things I've been blessed with in a long while.

    How are you feeling?

I have the best job now that I've had in decades. So why am I still getting a case of Sunday evening blues, knowing I go back to work tomorrow? Once I get there, things are always fine. Maybe force of habit because my other jobs were always so stressful.

The "Last Thing You Bought" game.

A blue shirt with gold accents. Blue and gold is my favorite color combination. I was happy to find such a tasteful combination online.

how are you feeling? (in images)

I'd just like to note how awesome this forum is. I just realized (days later) that I accidentally made my last post in the "How are you feeling (in images)" thread, thinking it was the other thread (without images required). I received two sympathetic replies as well as two likes from other...

how are you feeling? (in images)

Feeling weird. Lately I've been aware that my anxieties have no foundation yet I have a feeling of impending doom, like something really bad is about to happen. The thing is, my life has been going pretty well lately.

    Post your random thoughts/feelings etc

Was invited to an outing to celebrate the Christmas season with a bunch of people I vowed not to be around anymore about a year ago. I agreed to go as a way of forgiving/self healing. It's over a week away and already I'm starting to regret it. Balancing forgiveness with staying away from...

    Guys a question for you

I don't understand. The poster says "It is Forbidden to Mansplain", not Man-Spread. The poster doesn't offend me. Mansplain is when men explain to women about things women know more about than men such as childbirth, etc. I totally get the point of the poster and think it's actually amusing...

What is your biggest problem, struggle with Social Anxiety?

It's nowhere near that simple. Usually, when I'm misunderstood, it's gone beyond a simple explanation by the time I even find out I've given the wrong impression. And a simple explanation doesn't do with people who don't understand what social anxiety or OCD really is about. Try telling the...

What is your biggest problem, struggle with Social Anxiety?

I feel that I am vastly misunderstood most of the time and I never know how to make people realize the truth.

Feeling Euphoric And A Lot Less Anxious After Energy Drink

I noticed that sometimes (not every time) minutes after drinking a 5 Hour Energy drink, I feel buoyed, happy and willing to socialize. This always happens at work since that's the only time I feel tired enough to want an energy drink. I'm not a coffee drinker so the small 5 Hour Energy drink...

Is it Better To Be an Orphan or a Stepchild?

I'm speaking figuratively here in terms of your dealings with people. An orphan is a person left on his or her own without support, much company or notoriety. A stepchild is someone who's been accepted by others but treated without much regard or respect, a doormat. However, he or she is...

    I Can't Cry, Can You?

Somebody recently asked me if I was a crier. Not only am I not inclined to cry, I can't even remember crying outside of childhood. When my mother passed away, I thought to myself, "Okay, this is the perfect time to cry, just let it all out" but no tears came. Although I was profoundly sad, all...

Well, you've succeeded in making me hate you. I don't know why you made it your goal when I was one of the only people who genuinely had your back but congratulations on your success and good luck in life.

Do You Have A Best Friend?

Not including siblings, other relatives or spouses. I could otherwise say my brother is mine but can't think of anyone I would consider as a best friend. Likewise, I don't think anyone considers me as theirs. When I was in my 20's I had a group who I hung out with fairly regularly. Back...

Trouble Reading Aloud In Front of People

I attended a seminar today in which each of us were required to read certain parts of an article out loud. Each of us were assigned a section and instantly my anxiety began to ramp up. I have always been well read and can read and comprehend just about anything. On the occasion when I come...
