I have this odd thing when I get even slightly hot my back really starts to sting.. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? I asked my father but all he told me was a guy he knew that was in Panama for military training had something similiar but it was a type of fungus from the jungle.. I don't thin it is that at all, but it really hurts and won't go away until I cool down.

I have not experienced this on a regular basis-- but if it's ongoing it could be (as anything could be) symptoms of depression or panic/anxiety.

If you continue to have this stinging sensation, I would suggest you look further into it and see a neurologist, possibly.

I briefly looked up some answers that other people got for a similar health question and got a list of possible problems, if you feel like researching further into them and seeing if any are actually applicable to you?
The symptoms you are experiencing can be possibly be caused by either muscle disease, nerve injury, or a spine condition. Some examples would include disk herniation, disk bulging, vertebral malalignment, nerve root compression, degenerative disk disease, muscle cramps, etc.
- other possibilities include shingles, Notalgia Paraesthetica or dermatitis

...all over the place, yeah-- but if you can think of any other ongoing symptoms or any similar ailments that run in the family, it should help alot.

It's odd because I get the same kind of tinge on my back but it only happens when in the cold and goes away when I start to warm up or get really hot. Instead of an ice pack for my injuries to numb I instead use hot water the cold makes it worse for others it's the opposite.

When I was out in the desert I lucked out on getting very ill and got to stay in an air-conditioned building.. Up to that point my entire back was stinging and felt very itchy.. When I cool off I am good to go. I can't afford to see a medical professional, I only have $8.15 to my name..
