You want to know how I got these scars?
To all the priest's out there..

I've lived in filth
I've lived in sin
but I still smell cleaner than the shit you're in.

This is clearly offensive and against the rules as enunciated by a moderator on page 2 or so of this thread.

You seem to be trying to tar everyone who disagrees with you with the same brush as the priests who have been found to have done the wrong thing. You are ignoring the great majority of priests who do have not done that and have given something up to be priests.

The minister at my church, who is Church of England, is single and I do not know whether that is by accident or design, but I know of a number who have given things up to be clergypersons. The same church has its own charity onsite.

As for your conclusion, first, it involves improper language, and, second, it is just your opinion.

As you can see mate, everyone's opinion is valid in this thread.
Now, as for the "bad language".. we have been able to swear for quite some time now, yet you haven't pointed that out on any other threads .
Just so you know, those words come from a song I like called "holy smoke".
And yes, it's about all those preachers with double standards. Advising "the flock" to live by gods word while flouting it themselves. Why would they do that? Most likely because they themselves don't believe in god..

I did not know that swearing was allowed. I have not been here for some time.

I did a philosophy unit on mythology at MQ uni a few years ago and it treated all modern religions the same as the older ones, it approached it as christian/jewish/buddhist/ect mythology. A fair few uni courses, especially in literature or philosophy treat religions as mythologies. I imagine the science ones would too but its never come up in my experience with any science based courses/classes
