Help with my mom

That's great Srijita. I understand where you're coming from, my mother is overprotective. I'm glad you're able to fly free and try to experience and grow from life. Mines still won't let off because I'm the youngest and I feel like there is nothing I can do about her being controlling unless I move out. It can be a good thing that parents protect their kids and children may later find understanding, but is sometimes too much.
Thanks Beleza.
I'm sorry, I hope you can be able to free yourself from her control and get what you want.

Sounds sort of like my mother, but nowhere near as extreme. I mainly had to deal with her overprotectiveness until not long after I started college. It's great that your mother is starting to realize that it's better for you to be on your own, though. :)

Yeah, I'm glad she's starting to realise too.

My parents cannot accept I have SAD. They always say I am lazy or stupid or give excuses rather than acknowledge the simple fact that I have SAD! Even after 20 professionals told them repeatedly over 2 years!
