In a very rare social situation? no.
At the hospital? Yes, always.
Any nurse/doctor who doesn't know about my condition will assume I'm on illegal drugs because of my mannerisms.

haha- I figured that's what you meant.
In that case, no.
I don't see anyone, ever- so there's no opportunity for such an occurrence.

With the exception of doctor's appointments, no one has ever asked me if I was on drugs (legal or illegal). I think some people might have assumed I've "smoked" (pot, I'm guessing) going by the way I used to dress, but I've never tried any illegal drugs. No one's been able to even guess that I'm on an SSRI.

Medication is the reason I have social anxiety.... but I can't do well in school without it..

I've never done any drugs but a few years ago when my anxiety started to lessen, many of my coworkers assumed I smoked pot and was high all the time. I'm probably one of the chillest guys anyone could meet, and I was actually kinda proud of the fact that people perceived me that way. I felt like I must have been doing a good job of hiding the anxiety I felt underneath.

Yes, and when asked I say, yes, and apparently not ENOUGH medication since you're standing in front of me still.

Nope, I hide my anxiety well. In fact people rarely notice or suspect I have an anxiety disorder. So far I believe I have met only one person able to see right through me. Most people just think I am not a very mature person when dealing with my emotions or a boring person basically when they see I have very little activities outside of work.

let's see here...

  • about once or twice a week when i was in high school.
  • nearly every day when i was working my fastfood job.
  • most ppl in college (when i attempted it) didn't ask me, but some scruffy raver type skinda started gravitating around me in one class.
  • customers (who are druggies themselves) at my current job make pot references my way expecting i'm going to high five them or something
  • two of the last 5 girls i met their first Q to me was "what's your drug of choice..."

my life seems full of drug references and inquiries slung my way... i was 100% straight edge until age 27 when i started drinking a little...

i never slept well and always have dark circles under my eyes plus the depressed expression all the time - this is what makes me come across as a druggie .
