My new long-haired Chihuahua puppy Gizmo - just got him 3 days ago.
We named him after Gizmo from The Gremlins for his brown/white fluffy fur, sweet personality, and big ears

He is the absolute most adorable thing in the world with a great personality to match but Good Lord he is quite a piece of work... He's very hyper and has the worst case of separation anxiety. He won't stop crying and whining when left alone, especially at night. He has fresh food and water in the living room and some wee pads in the kitchen so I can't figure out what all the ruckus is about. I'm here in my room right now with headphones on and hard rock blasting to tune him out. Hopefully it'll get better once we start crate training him and take him for a training class this Sunday.

If anyone thinks they can help me out with this and give me some advice it would be very much appreciated

I'm sorry to say I don't have good advice on taking care of a puppy, maybe misses his mother? But I just had to say you picked a name so spot on you could almost say you did bring home the REAL Gizmo. So so cuuuute! Now all he needs is some Rambo swag. ::
