Anyone else have any crazy things you want to do if you dont find someone soon?

I'm 22 and my first date or kiss or anything is nowhere in sight. If I have still never had a girlfriend by January 13 2012, my 24th birthday, I'm giving up on life and running off deep into the rainforest on a suicide trek. I've already ironed out most of the kinks to make it as smooth as possible for the world i leave behind.

Am I weird or has anybody else set a deadline for themselves?

If you are only going to criticize me, stuff it. I'm done with giving up things that I want all because one person doesn't approve. I did that all my life and i'm finished.

I was a good person, I followed the law, I did selfless good deeds, I was honest about things that I could have let slide, even when it meant it cost me something, I always gave more love than I received. I was a good person, fockdammit.

yea i always set deadlines... while heaps of my high school friends are talking about their long term relationships and some getting married and having kids, im still pondering what a first date would be like ... i remember when i was 17 and telling myself i'd find a gf before i turn 18... then it became before i turn 19... i recently turned 23

If you are absolutely fed up with it, then just say **** IT!!! and get off your computer and the first girl that you see just ask her for her number, and if she turns you down then **** her too, and just keep asking until you can go to sleep tonight with at least one girl's phone number to call tomorrow, it is really the only thing that is going to change anything on an immediate time line

Well you can't beat yourself up about it, if she opened up a window for you to ask her out, then call her and bust open the door next time, really I've been the same way before, and the best thing that I ever learned was that if you dont just say **** it every once in a while and go out on a limb, then nothing is ever going to change

There are plenty of late bloomers who are turned down because they're virgins in their mid twenties. Often the dates have been great, and when the appropriate moment comes and she learns that he is a virgin, she's turned off because she thinks virgins are losers. If she's a bitch, she'll tell the guy right away that "he's a loser"; if she doesn't have the heart to do that, she'll say that she doesn't want to be remembered as "his first time".

No it was a stranger in a store type thing. We were looking for the same thing at the same time and we joked about it a little. I may have been imagining the window anyway. Desperate guys like me tend to think females are doing us a huge favor by even talking nicely to us or touching us on purpose. The 'window' could have been in my head, but i felt i could have at least tried something in that situation if i had the balls.
