SPW Skype chat room

Hi everyone. I'm making a chat room for SPW users. I want to get a large amount of people in the room to keep it active.

Add me on Skype and I'll add you to the room. My user name is xmtkox

I'm not sure if there's a limit on how many people can be in a skpye room at once, but we'll find out eventually.

The skype room will be mostly text chat, so don't be afraid to join please. We can do voice chats if anyone wants to.

Send me a message (xmtkox) saying you want me to add you to the room and I'll add you in. We have about 15 people in there so far, but it's not as active as we all would like it to be, so the more people that join the better.

If I remember correctly, the ability to do a group voice chat is disabled once the group gets larger than 24. Perhaps we could keep one big room, and divide up into smaller groups if/when someone wants to do more than text... perhaps just pick out the people currently online or that want to participate at the time.

im on yahoo messenger not skype , sorry for asking but whats wrong with the chat on here chat box or irc , not that i use them much , just asking why you would all want to use skype when this site has a chat room .... ? im not to good with comps bye the way prob something im missing here ...

A few things... you can actually "talk" to each other if you have a microphone, and some might like that there is no censorship/moderation. And usually no lag... sometimes there are glitches, like not seeing old messages until long after they're posted, but overall it's way better than the chat here, even without the voice chat feature.

It's not the rules really. Even though there is no standards for what topics can be talked about here, most of the time they are SA or depression related. Since skype is unrelated to the site there is more sense of freedom in what you can talk about. The fact that it's uncensored also helps ::

Well the chatbox here isn't as active as when I used to chat in it. So I figured I'd try to make a more active one on skype, since it has better features. There's already a little circle of people that chat a lot with me, so I'm hoping lots more will join.
