Do you ever get restless??

Even if you're afraid to leave your house, do you ever get restless being stuck inside all the time? I like being at home most of the time, but sometimes I can't take it. Sometimes I feel like a rat that's stuck in a very small cage, with no way to escape. I'm afraid to leave the house to go anywhere, but I hate being stuck in the house, too. I'm so restless right now. I woke up at about 6am & now it's 8:10am & I have the whole entire day before me & absolutely nothing to do with it.

Does anyone else ever feel this way? Especially people who don't have jobs or other things to keep them out of the house?

i get cabin fever if i stay at home for more than 2 days. Just the other day i drove to an empty parking lot and listened to the radio for a couple hours just so i can get out of the house..

Haha me too. I live in a small apartment and after about two days I have to go outside and walk around get a coffee even though I can make it here or just had one.

Cabin Fever exactly.

You go outside and I'm like oh s*** the light burns.

I like living in my apartment but if I stay in it too long I become restless. That's why I hate holidays, because I mostly sit at home. I like going to university just because I can be out of home. I really need to find job because staying at home all life will be depressing. My granddads daughter is over 40 and spend all life in her room and she is looking like a wreck. I always want to achieve something when I visit her.

I'm not the kind of person who would go out too much, but I hate staying in for too long. I don't have much activity out of the house, no friends, I fear certain places, so I don't have much of a choice but staying in like a parasite most of the time.

I feel like that a lot, I get days where being inside really gets to me, but i don't do anything about it because i'm scared to go out, so i end up getting frustrated at myself on top of being restless. Sometimes i can get out, and i feel good when i do, but that doesn't happen very often.

God yeah! I do get really restless and i'll start pacing around the place in frustration. This happens if i'm in the house for too long like at Christmas time.

I also get resltess from being trapped inside my own mind with too many thoughts too!

same here.

Besides indoor hobbies and weekly volunteer work, I never have anything to do. It makes me feel awful in the summer, because I'd love to take my bike and ride down to the library or something, but I can't.. and I love nature and being outside, going for walks and stuff. Kind of torments you.
I look forward to gardening this summer, that gets me outside everyday. Hopefully I can get a job or something, too.

Sometimes, I feel like leaving but when I leave the house I like to be do doing something useful so If I can't think of anything I wonder why I'm bothering.

Sometimes I will go out late at night and just skate around the Downtown area.
It's the best time because it's usually not to hot out, and no people around.
The only thing that sucks is usually the police look down upon it :p

I just can't seem to sit still. Always pacing around the house if I have nothing to keep me busy. Especially when listening to music . Sometimes I am in the computer or watching tv and I get this incredible urge to RUN after a while and have to leave for a walk or something or else I'd go insane.

I know I do.
I like to convince myself I'm acomplishing something so I'll draw or write.
But it's so hard to get the modivation to do anything when you're stuck inside where there's little inspiration. When I'm outside, I just can't wait to get back inside.
Bah, I annoy myself so much.
