Y do so many ppl view a forum but never reply?

I like to use the link on the home page that says "View unanswered posts" and sometimes I'll reply to those. But lately it's so full of spam that it's hard to find a real post in there.

My guess would be too lazy or just don't feel like replying. No offense to anybody, that's how I am sometimes too.
