worst thing at school

i had the worst time with my teacher. for my senior project (i am about to graduate college), i had to do a painting, and show it to a faculty member for critique.

she told me "ive got to be honest and aggresive. i know youve got ocd, and maybe thats the problem, but your work is just not prgressing. this is not good enough. i dont think youre gonna get into grad school. well, what are your plans after college?"

"i thought id work on my portfolio for grad school while working part time"

"i fear you will not do well because youre not focused enough. you should go back to community college"

she made me cry...i hate crying in front of people. i dont know if what she said is true or not, but i fell so awful.

I remember, we had to do dancing in PE and no-body wanted to dance with me, they would all go eww, and pull their sleeves over their hands so they didn't have to touch me....and groan....nothing big, but still enough to hurt me....I have clean hands you know

Let's hope she just said that because she thinks you can do better and wants you to work harder. A teacher has to tell the truth, but not to be hurtful. I would continue on with my plans, if I were you.

thanks everyone. i will continue to do what i do; i wont let her stop me. i feel so hurt though, but im letting it go. i also feel spiteful. i want to confront her, but the semester is not over for a month and i dont want that to hurt my grades...
