Work from home

We should all grow medicinal herbs indoors to make money. Here are some of the reasons:

1. To piss the man off. Government sucks. They bail out rich banks, rich arms dealers, rich oil sheiks. They suck the life from the poor people.

2. We need money to live. Nobody hires people with mental illnesses. And if we do get hired, then they don't give us offices to be able to work effectively.

to be continued ...

If a group of us pooled our money, rented a big ol' house in California, and got our cannabis cards from a doc (for anxiety related reasons), this is a pretty reasonable idea. Under California state law, each card holder is allowed grow their own medicine. We could have a green house in the backyard where we could each have our own individual marijuana plots. Nothing excessive, since that'd probably just get us in trouble.

Being able to grow medicine wouldn't be the only good thing about this. We'd be living with other people with anxiety problems. It'd be like group therapy all the time, lol. We'd be able to push each other to get out of the house and get out and enjoy life. We'd also be able to respect each other on the level that we'd all be socially anxious, so the hassle of being judged and ridiculed by your roommate(s) for wanting to hang out inside would no longer be a factor.

However, growing for money isn't really an option, since it's illegal for the time being. We'd have to get jobs and be able to pay our fair shares of the household expenses, but if we had 4 or 5 people sharing a house, the cost of living wouldn't be too bad for California.

Haha I don't think this was a serious thread to start with, but I'd like to try it out for a year or so. If it works out, awesome. If it doesn't, we'll at least have the experience to look back on :). Does anybody think this could work or am I crazy? lol...

Peace

I would think that doing work like this from home would be very beneficial to people with SP/SAD. But would that really "help" us? It sounds like working at home would only isolate us from the outside world....thusly causing our SP/SAD to expand itself. While I would much rather work at home like you all, I don't think its the right choice for me, for any of us. I think we have to stop hiding ourselves, if we ever hope to overcome this disease known as SP/SAD.

Did you even read my post motherwolff?? Marijuana growing wouldn't provide our income since it's illegal to grow for profit, but if the 4-5 people living in this place all found jobs, it'd be pretty easy to come up with household expenses each month. There was another part in my post about challenging each other to get out and enjoy life. I think it'd be easier to go out and do things with people who are accepting of the fact that panic attacks are a common occurrence in my life. The people I live with now think i'm just childish and/or lazy. I'd personally love to try living with some people who also have anxiety problems.

Think of it as kind of a halfway house for people with anxiety disorder, where similar people come together and encourage each other to face their fears and become the productive members of society that we want to be.

The medical herb would honestly just be a bonus because it's the best medicine I've come across to treat my panic disorder.

Peace
