I remember when I was a kid that there was snow and ice nearly every winter. But now the Netherlands doesn't really have seasons anymore, just more or less rain and temperature changes. So I'm looking at places that do have varying seasons, that are relatively peaceful and in which I don't have to learn yet another language.
