What's your dreams, hopes

So what are your dreams, hopes that you still can possibly achieve in this life, not talking about the afterlife, the eternal afterlife in heaven w/ God. My dream, hope is that I can do a normal eye contact. I have difficulty with eye contact from SA so I can come off as strange and ill/crazy but everything about me is normal except that. I found my glasses can help. Do you have dreams, hopes that is still possible to achieve in this life?

Sorry I don't know if I come off as ill/crazy but I do think I come off something like that or distressed.

No need to be sorry, lily. When we're struggling with anxiety, especially social anxiety, we can't help how we come across sometimes.

I also struggle with eye contact so can definitely relate, sadly.

Thank you so much for your reply on this. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one but that we can go through this journey together and fight it. Yeah, with social anxiety still in the picture, we can't help how we come across sometimes. Some people wouldn't understand. That's why we shouldn't be quick to judge other people's inabilities. Even if I corrected my eye contact problem and have no more SA, I'd still be someone who's has shyness traits, those thought patterns of SA. lol You know us!

My hopes and dreams? Well...

I'd like to be more confident in myself. Also, being able to say "No" without feeling guilty - like I'm being letdown for doing so would nice.
Coupled with that, it'd be nice to be able to justify my decision for saying "No" and have it be respected. I hate that I'm always having to be overly assertive and raise my voice to get my point across about why I've decided not to do something.

My eye contact anxiety difficulty has improved quite a lot after watching a video on social anxiety- eye contact (Stop being awkward). :) If my dreams, hopes can come true in some way, yours can too!
