You see, i'm seeking help because i'm pretty sure that i don't live a normal life, because many things i do don't make me happy and all this things, i don't really know what i have.

But i since a guy told me last week that "he did normal things", i'm freaking with this very question.

I mean, i KNOW that normal is variable and is a personal thing, but i never knew whats normal to me so i can't tell. I know that normal is feeling confortable with what you do. But how i'm suposed to know what to do, since i do nothing at all.

The real question on this topic , without filosofical or deep thought is:What's a normal life to you?

I don't agree with the use of the word normal, because there's no such thing! No-one has the right to say that their life is 'normal' over another person's. But i know you weren't asking a philosophical question soooo... my ideal 'normal' life would be one where i could be completely spontaneous in deciding what I'm going to do from one day to the next, and being completely comfortable going somewhere and being an actual part of human society
Just being able to decide to go shopping in town...and then doing it without any difficulty! Nothing big or exciting, just freedom I guess!
I think living a normal life is one where you can strive to do what you want to do, whatever that is! Having relationships, working, shopping....pff! whatever you want!

I don't think there is a definition for normal, it's so many different things for so many different people. Who wants to be normal anyways? Normal is boring. You don't want to be normal! I certain don't want a routine boring ass normal life, I would feel like such a robot. I like to be strange, but in a good exciting way. To me I see a "normal" like as a boring clockwork routine of a 9-5 job or whatever, with the same schedule every day.

You don't need to be normal to feel comfortable with what you do! All you really need to do is be happy. There is a big difference between being normal and being mentally balanced. Don't think that they are the same thing. Some people are perfectly content with living those "normal" lives, and that's fine. I just don't understand how you can want that though. I like being strange, weird, eccentric, and bizarre, but I wish it was in a good way, and I wish it wasn't hidden from the world. But pleaseee don't settle for being "normal" :D.

Oh by the way Kayelle I am already in love with you. Jimmy Page is amazing ;)

In simple words, a normal life for me is not be happy all the time but don´t feel irrational fears. Face the life with self-confidence. Be relax. without extress about everything I do.
This is for me a normal life. Don´t be suffering and anxious all the time.
This is all I can´t say. Don´t suffer for tiny things. Í haven´t still get it but I´m working on that.
This is all I can say!
Sorry I hope help you more! :D

Normal doesn't exist unless you take a certain aspect of life and a certain set of people. So if you'll be very specific, I might give you a useful answer. :D
But who likes that, anyway? Boring. We can't let there be a "normal" in anything. We all have to be different. And if we can forget this issue of wanting to create a normal and conform to it, there wouldn't be half the problems for shy or sensitive people.

I've never met a normal person. Maybe looking at the macro a person may seem normal, if you start learning about the person, nobody is normal

Simple.

Me + the ability to communicate with others = normal

To be normal is a goal of mine.

Maybe when I'm old I'll reflect back on my life and say "dude, I was normal all along" and I'll truly mean it.

But, at the moment I am yet to reach that conclusion. I'm still young.

Thats the kind of thing the protagonist learns at the end of his story. Thats the conflict, thats what makes the story interesting.

Normal is very subjective in my opinion.

I don't think so. Every society has definite norms and to conform to those norms is being normal. But we all deviate from norms and thats what makes us a unique individual :D
