What sleep aid works for you?

lunesta worked the best for me, no grogginess, no hardness of breath but it was just too darn expensive. I get over the counter benydryl or the generic ones when i'm desperate for sleep, but those build up tolerance exponentially and you have to get the dose just right or you'll feel like a zombie the next day... Use them sparingly and good luck.

I've decide a very long ago that I'd never take any medicine to help difficult illnesses/dispositions. The only thing I take is a strong Ibuprofen when I have a migraine.

I usually tune into Comedy Central and watch shows like That 70's show and Frasier (or whatever is on at the time), that usually calms me down enough to fall asleep. And if all fails, there's always the natural way. Though, that could lead to other negative addictions if used too often.

Zopiclone worked REALLY well for a while... However, after I was on that for about 1 year, I sort of got addicted, and started taking more and more.. It wasn't good. I ended up taking enormous doeses, and even stealing them from people that I live with. Zopiclone has a higher addictive potential than benzos.

advil pm works for me. It actually works to good, i felt like a zombie all day today. I only took it so could get my hours normal. If I take it early,I'll go to sleep early I'll wake up early and I'll be awake all day. Hopefully I'll go o sleep early tonight.

Zopliclone isn't available in the US right? I use zolpidem (ambien) and that works really well. Drinking until I pass out also works, but I try to stay away from that.
