to webmaster: moderators needed

i asked to be a mod then the webmaster contacted me the other day and basically questioned why i would be a good mod. well, no shit. i would ban inappropriate posters, for one. i'm not a **** mod or someone on a power trip but this place obviously needs mods. did he really need to question that? i have since messaged him a couple times and no more response. we'll see...

so, when someone makes the new website (with mods) message me with the link.

hi dottie..congrats to you for offering to help with the moderating. Clearly, it is necessary and overdue. Just want you to know the webmaster may not be familiar with everyone on this site..and would ask anyone who's interested the same question..'why would you be a good mod?' The lack of mods on here and the crap posts that remain frustrate me also, but i'm assuming the webmaster just wants to make sure the right people are doing the moderating..and those posts won't remain on here for long. If you're still interested in being a mod..send me a private message, and i'll pass that along. And don't forget..there may be a few bad apples on this site who have absolutely no conscience posting the horrific images and offending people, but there are also tons of really cool people..and that's reason enough for me to stick around :wink:

Moderators are not needed. Just delete your account.

Once the owner starts losing revenues they will get the messages. No need to get mad. Just do a google search on shyness and youll find other anxiety sites. There are lots of them. No need to waste time getting mad at the haker. They will go as far as they can get away with.

Once enough of you delete your accounts the troll with realize they killed the goose that laid the golden. Some people have to learn things the hard way.

That's just what I'm gonna do. This is just getting too ridiculous :roll: . How do you delete the account, though? I went to "My Account" but didn't see a "delete account" anywhere. Any idea?

Isn't it illegal to post pornographic images to children ie those under the age of 16...? Because, when you think about it, that's exactly what's happened here, there are several members under 16. Also can the webmaster trace the originator of the offensive post and maybe even have the police prosecute? They probably could if they wanted to, and the police are often able to track down paedophiles who post sick images of kids and imagine they're safe because they're behind a computer. Even tho these weren't pictures of kids it's corrupting kids just the same. Just a thought.

Don't know why he questioned if you'd make a "good" mod. Isn't that better then a non-existent one? The only problem is if you ban the inappropriate members, they can just get new accounts and continue posting garbage. Maybe it depends on how persistent they are!

i think erasing the bad posts would be a great start...and, after all..there are some young, innocent..confused, anxiety-stricken people on this site..and they really don't need any other crap to deal with..so, erase those posts..it's a step in the right direction :wink:
