Can having a large amount of time off make you more depressed than when you're in school or at work? At least when I'm at school I feel like I'm actually doing something.
hey Day_Tripper, thanks for replying to my post. Yes , I do believe that taking a long time off can make a person depressed. If you keep yourself busy with school or work your mind is concentrating on other things besides yourself. Also keeping yourself isolated from society will make things even worse.
Yeah I also believe it makes you more depressed too. I have huge amounts of leave under my belt at work (6 months worth) and I am in no rush to take it. Work helps me keep my mind off things.
